Camp Life

Hearts – and hope – expand in the great outdoors

Located on the New River, overlooking 120 acres of wooded mountains and grassy flatlands, Camp New Hope welcomes its guests to enjoy spectacular views from all angles of the property. We want our special kids and their families to do whatever they feel like doing. To sit and relax by the firepit and enjoy S’mores or star gazing. Float down the river on tubes. Fish. Play soccer or baseball. Take a cool dip. Explore the miles and miles of trails on our personal RTVs. We even have special swings for guests with handicapped needs.

MACHINLEY'S PLAYHOUSE AND LODGE

Home Away from Home

At the Mackinley Playhouse and Lodge, families arrive at a 5-bedroom retreat – and to a country kitchen stocked with their favorite foods! Immediately, they can start deciding what it is they’d like to do. Like watching their favorite films or TV series in the lodge's movie room, relaxing in the quiet area, playing video games or board games, or curling up with a book until it’s time to turn in. In the morning, after waking up from a good night’s sleep, they might just spot some deer or wild turkey, or catch a flock of geese skimming the surface of the river. These moments in nature are both peaceful and breathtaking, and families always find them priceless.
