Greetings from a wet but beautiful Camp New Hope.
We wanted to share with you the families that were here with us this past weekend. The first family is the Cutliff family who was here to make Samuel a paver for the cross and to also check out Samuel’s Circle a trail that was named in honor of Samuel who passed away 2 years ago. We miss him very much and we were so happy that the family wanted to come visit this placed that brought them so many happy memories.
The next family is the Easley Family. Adam is one of our campers who has Cystic Fibrosis. We were so pleased they could be here with us also.
This week we have Landon’s family with us from Arkansas. If you will remember, Landon passed away 2 weeks ago and we were honored when they called to ask if they could return to help begin the healing process. It is amazing how God works things out because the day before they called we found out the family who was scheduled to be here this week had to cancel because the little girl was not able to make the long trip. I really don’t know why I am surprised when things like this happen because they happen all the time here at Camp New Hope. I will be sending out pictures later of Isabella, Landon’s twin sister later this week.
Please keep these children and their families as well as all of us in your prayers. May God bless you for all you do.
For the children,
