Meet Kelly

Greetings from Camp New Hope!  Wow has it been wet here!  Last week we received 4 inches of rain in one hour and need I say that the rain did havoc on the road and trails.  Seems we are taking 2 steps forward and 3 steps back as far as the grounds are concerned.  I am going to get off that subject because it is what it is!

Please allow me to introduce to you Kelly!  Kelly was here with her family and her caregiver Water!  Kelly, Water and her brother and dad all took a ride on the tubes down the river and even did it in the drizzling rain.  Well,  you are going to get wet anyway so why not in the rain.  Lot’s of smiles on those faces.  Kelly and her family stayed in the cottage by the creek and falls and they loved it.  It is just so quiet back there.  One night when it wasn’t raining we built a bonfire and roasted smores.  What an awesome family!

Please continue to remember the camp in your prayers.  It is August and school is beginning so we need to pray that God will protect these medically fragile children from the illnesses that abound with the new school year beginning.  Even a small cold can quickly become life threatening for these children,

Visit us when you can!

For the children,
