Greetings from Camp New Hope! We would like to introduce you to our guest this week the Quinn family from Arkansas. Boy did they have beautiful weather and lots of fun. Isabella is status post liver transplant and is a sweetheart. They enjoyed the river, making popcorn at Ernies as well as riding the train, singing with Martin and storytelling by Marty, Pizza from the Village Inn, painting with Debbie and lots more.
We also want to share with you a few pictures of the Camp New Hope Cottage in the woods that was just completed this week. Thank you to Bob and Nancy Sumner for helping make this possible. Thanks to all of those who helped! Thank you Greg Chatham for a GREAT bridge which far exceeded our expectations! To all of those who helped with the renovation of the cottage “thank you” it is just beautiful and you are a great bunch of guys. The cottage is a two bedroom and two bath and will sleep 5. It is located by a stream with 3 small waterfalls and a deck that overlooks the stream. It will be perfect for our small families. Also the small cabin by the river is also available which sleeps 7 and we have also converted the playhouse as another option until we are able to move further with our plans. We are really excited about this year and are praying for God’s guidance.
I shared with you about my new baby girls, 26 of them to be exact and one little boy! The chicks will be a month old Tuesday and I cant wait until the children get to gather the eggs for their breakfast. How exciting! I am sure I will get a lot of laughs out of this and it will be educational for the children to help feed the little ones.
I want to take this time to say “thank you” to everyone who continues to volunteer at CNH. You all inspire me and confirm to me that the world is still full of good people. May God bless each and everyone of you.
Please pray for the camp and pray that we would always to what God would be pleased with. Pray for protection over the families that come here and pray for the protection of those who have a part in making this camp possible. There are always so many decisions that have to be made and pray that God will guide those who are involved in the decision making process. Thank you for your continued financial support as well as your prayers. We love you and pray that God will bless you all. Thank you to our owners, Will and Mark Adkins because ultimately without them there would not be a Camp New Hope. Visit us when you can!
For the children,
