Meet Cassidy

Greetings from a beautiful Camp New Hope!  I would like to introduce our guest from a week ago.  Sorry it has taken me so long to get this email out to everyone.

Cassidy comes to us from Lugoff, SC.  She is 5 years old!  We celebrated her birthday as well as her Mom’s while she was here.  Cassidy has been diagnosed with encephalitis, seizure disorder and cerebral palsy and is fed with a feeding tube.  Cassidy is just beautiful and she loved painting with Debbie!  She also loved riding the Kubota which seems to be the favorite for all of our families.  She has visitors from Oak Grove Baptist Church Youth.  What a blessing to have them all here.  Cassidy also loved the train ride from Ernies and Martin singing and Marty reading and the Ranger showing all the skins, furs and skeletons of animals from the area.

God bless each of you that keep us in your prayers.

Summer is always a busy time for us but with our children being so ill sometimes we have cancellations at the last minute and it is very hard to fill them.  So this week our family had to cancel so we will be working hard around the camp to play catch up!  Please pray that God will give me clarity of mind so that I may do what is the most urgent thing to do.

Thank you again to all the volunteers to help with the grounds and with the families.  The camp would not be the same without each of you.  As always thank you to the owners Mark and Will Adkins who without them this camp would not be possible.  God bless each and everyone of you is my prayer.

For the children,
