Introducing Braedon

Greetings from Camp New Hope and I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!

It is with great pleasure I introduce our guest from last week Braedon.  Braedon has been diagnosed with a mitochondrial disorder, Leigh’s disease and is legally blind, non verbal, non mobile and has seizure disorder.  I fell in love with Braedon he is just so special.  I also fell in love with this family!!!  They were just great and appreciated every little thing we did for them.  Mom and Dad were just super and all the siblings were so excitable!  They played and played in Mackinley’s Playhouse and they loved Nanny’s Porch and the Park Ranger and singing with Martin. They also loved the new awesome train that Mr. Ernie Carpenter has.  He even put our name on it and uses it as a fund raiser train for the camp.  What would we do without ALL the volunteers!  From those who help with the grounds to those who bring goodies for the families to those who read to the children and for those who come and do activities and paint you ALL are appreciated and I feel blessed having your help.

Please continue to pray that we would always do God’s will here and that none of us would do things that we may get the glory out of it but that families would see God’s love through the work that we are blessed to do here.  Help us spread the word about this special place!

Thank you to Mark and Will Adkins because without you this special place would not be here.

Visit when you can!

For the children,
Randy
